For about a year now, In and Out BBQ has been my family’s go-to food allergy safe restaurant spot whenever we make our trip to Guam. My siblings and I have a long list of allergens including dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, shellfish, mustard and mango. Because there is limited food allergy training at hospitals on Guam, it’s always important that my siblings and I are extra careful about what we eat, especially when dining out. Luckily, the owner is my uncle, and we are able to find accommodations for our food allergies when visiting.

The owner is able to go through the recipe of different foods we want to try or the ones that we think are safest. There are five items on their menu free from the top 9 allergens, and accommodations can be made to people with food allergies. In and Out BBQ is very accommodating and will make sure their customers have a safe and delicious dining experience.
