    Interview with (Co-founder)

Q1:How do you take an allergen order different from a regular order? +
While other platforms review allergy-friendly food establishments, ours goes further: each review—contributed by members of the food allergy community—includes a summary of an interview with the chef or manager describing the establishment’s allergy protocols. This unique approach reduces the need for diners to make multiple calls in advance and provides valuable insight into food establishments’ allergy procedures.
Q2: What foods on the menu are safe for people allergic to milk, egg, wheat, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and sesame seeds (top 9 allergens)? +
I’m attaching our allergen sheet for reference (in the “Menu” section above). This is on the verge of being updated as we eliminated Earth Balance Margarine, added coleslaw and replaced our cookies with GF Good Hope brand.
Q3: What steps do you take to accommodate people with food allergies? Do you have a food allergy policy in place? +
While we cannot 100% guarantee a completely safe dining experience, we hope our reviews help diners with food allergies make more informed decisions about where to eat safely. We recommend always double-checking a food establishment’s allergy procedures for the most up-to-date information, as procedures may change over time.
Q4: How do you control the risk of cross contact in the kitchen? +
EatWithoutWorry covers the top 9 allergens: dairy, eggs, wheat, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, sesame, soy, and peanuts.
Q5: What do you advise to those with food allergies when they visit other than self identification? Is there anything specific? +
    Both!
Q6: Are your staff trained and what training do they go through in regards to food allergies? +
As of May 2026, we feature reviews from cities across North America, including the United States and Canada.
